Golf Tourney

Jason and I hosted our first golf tournament for The Breakfast Club of Canada on July 12th, and I have to say that was my favourite event I have done so far! We hosted it at Elbow Spring Golf Course, and they were an absolute dream to deal with. They were so helpful, and most of all they let us just have a good time. At the beginning of the day they asked me what my rules were, I said "first rule is no rules", and they were happy to accommodate! The choice on venues can make or break any event. I was so happy with how they went above and beyond for us. I will 100% be returning for the 2nd annual.

We had amazing sponsors, including our title sponsor, Pembina. I couldn't believe their generosity and involvement in the Breakfast Club. They are really making a difference in our province. I was very humbled to be working along side of them. We were also fortunate enough to have sponsorship from Investors Group, Telford Financial Group, Coca- Cola, Air Canada, Wilson-Beck, Safety Boss, TransCanada, TMG, Bell Media, Molson Canadian and Delta Calgary South. Along with our amazing hole activities, The Sweat Lab (hilarious game there, pics are pretty embarrassing or I would have posted some), Rodney's Oyster House, Revolution Entertainment- for the photo booth, National Restaurant and Burgundy Oak. We couldn't have done it with all of our amazing sponsors! We had a lot of support from our friends and hockey family. We raffled a few NHL guys off to golf on teams and they all had a great time! I had a few friends who volunteered and I'm always so grateful for their help.

That was the first time I have woken up the day after an event and wanted to do it all again the next day. Always a good sign!! I'm looking forward to next year!
